Analytics

Analytics, also known as reading people is something I do. I’ve always done it well, and I seem to be using it all the time now more than ever. Subconsciously, my mind almost always starts analyzing people the second I see them. I can’t help it. I am always worried about threats, so I feel as if I must make sure there are no threats. The show House shows House doing it a lot too. Perhaps, I do it more now due to watching House. Probably is the case.

There’s nothing wrong with analyzing people though. Humans are simple, most think alike. If you know the thinking process, you have a higher chance of finding out the truth, instead of listening to people’s lies. A quote I like from House is, “Everyone lies”. In actuality it’s pretty damn true. Everyone lies. In most cases they make it obvious, but since most people on this earth suck at paying attention to detail they don’t notice. I guess most of the time, if I care about the topic, I’ll analyze people to see if they are lying. Why not, right?

Even my friends lie to me. Restating my point everyone lies. Especially in chats like on aim, people will always give off a signal that they are lying. I like to pick up on those and then tell then they’re lying. Of course they deny it, then I say that you are, then they deny it again. Eventually they give in.

I’m rarely wrong when I analyze. I guess I’m pretty cocky about it, but if you’re good, you’re good. Over the summer, when I was on BART due to my classes, I saw a man holding and iPhone playing with it. He was with another man, and I just randomly woke up and saw him tapping at it. I knew it wasn’t his automatically as if it were fact. I was kind of doubtful of my opinion but then after, he returned it to the man sitting next to him. Pretty much since then I have been more conscious on my analyzing of people. I like to analyze, get over it.
