During my stay in Vancouver, I’ve really learned more about culture outside of the US. I’ve been staying at a family’s house whom are friends with my boss. In this time though, I’ve grown to really like them. The oldest daughter who is in college, really understands people and can do higher levels of thinking that I’ve haven’t seen in average people for a long time. In my opinion, most people stay at level 1 or 2 which is knowledge and understand. The second daughter which is my age, seems to be the exact opposite of my ideals. Sure, she’s smart, but like the ex- her profile is one I highly dislike, in a way though complement my bitterness. Lastly, their youngest child, a guy, acts like a typical slacker and doesn’t get good grades for it. The dynamics of the family is so great, and also so amusing. I’ve been with them a couple days, and I know I love them to death.
