Random thoughts

The last couple days, this though has been magically popping up over and over again. A little summary of that thought: In our world and in our society there must have been a time when people thought heaven and hell was much closer to us. Perhaps not physically, but mentally or perhaps psychologically. Now imagine if you could send someone to hell or heaven for 3,000 years, but to you and other it would only be 2 seconds. I think I remember reading somewhere that something like this had happened before. Only that it was a myth. It’s real. It’s one of those gut feelings that I never fail on.

Wow.

It’s break. My laptop server nearly broke hardware wise and I’ve switched everything back to my desktop. Interesting break so far. It makes me wonder if it’s really worth hosting my own server. I mean like it could be better just putting it on commercial hosting so like I am not running the server myself. Then again having a computer hidden somewhere in the house and hooking up 2 monitors and being able to use them at anytime is really quite an experience. I don’t need to wait for my computers to boot up like other people do. Which usually on average kicks out like 5 min of work time for Windows users and maybe less than 30 seconds for Mac users. -_- I wish I had a Mac as my server. It’d really kick a lot of Windows @$$. I’m grateful for what I have though. Other people would die to have what I have. I should be happy, which I guess I am. I have a lot of friends. My social life is like 100000x it was a year ago. I have a functional server, I have my family, my ATDP friends, and best of all, I have God. What more do I need? Surprisingly I am rather content. Quite interesting human feeling. :]
